The Erie Barge Canal is an historic wonder and an engineering marvel that is a part of the woven fabric that winds its way through the center of Niagara, Orleans and Erie counties. The Cities of Lockport, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda and the Village of Medina owe its very existence to the great Clinton’s Ditch. Erie Canal Journeys is a collaborative effort between Lockport Main Street, Inc. and the Cultural Alliance of the Tonawandas.
